What is BayCLIC?
A Collaborative Focused on Climate Change Education
The Bay Area Climate Literacy Impact Collaborative (BayCLIC) is a consortium of over thirty environmental education institutions working in partnership to make the San Francisco Bay Area the leader in climate education and action. We represent parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, energy efficiency nonprofits, local government agencies, and many more. Based off of the collective impact model, we work collaboratively to address the most pressing climate education needs of informal educators in the region and provide targeted resources for this community.
Climate Change and Marine Mammals Animation Video
Need a resource that can communicate the science of climate change in a short, concise way for all ages? The Marine Mammal Center and a team of Animation students at the California College of the Arts, under direction from a Pixar Animator, produced a 5 minute animated short highlighting the science of climate change, the impacts on marine mammals and actions we can all take to protect our ocean environment for generations to come. The video is available for all to use on Youtube, or a digital file is available on request. Check it out at: A Word with Dr. Whizzlepuff.
