How the Collaborative Works

BayCLIC is a voluntary group whose work is driven by local educators that are passionate about climate change education. The collaborative offers a tiered system of engagement, letting members customize their participation. General members attend regular bi-monthly meetings and keep up to date with BayCLIC. Members that want to take a more active role get involved in a leadership group, either helping to plan and implement projects in a working group or helping to oversee higher level decisions like mission alignment and branding in the steering committee.

The Institute at the Golden Gate plays a support role for BayCLIC, facilitating and coordinating meetings, holding the agenda, acting as a liaison between the various groups, and more. For more information on our governance structure you can review our Bylaws at the bottom of this page.
